SeenWant respects intellectual property rights and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512. This page explains how to report copyright infringement and submit counter-notices. We may remove allegedly infringing content and terminate repeat-infringer accounts.
All movie posters, TV show posters, book covers, game screenshots, and trailer videos shown on SeenWant are sourced via official APIs of TMDB, RAWG, Google Books, Open Library, and YouTube. SeenWant does not host these images on its own servers — they are loaded from the APIs of the rights holders or their authorized distributors. If you believe such content is displayed in violation of your rights, contact the source provider directly. SeenWant will cooperate by removing display of specific items upon valid DMCA notice.
Our DMCA Designated Agent (registered with the US Copyright Office DMCA Directory) details will be provided once registration is complete. Until then, contact us via the feedback form with the subject 'DMCA Notice' and we will respond promptly.
Per 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), a valid DMCA notice must include:
WARNING: Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be liable for damages, including attorneys' fees.
If your content was removed and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice with:
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complainant. If the complainant does not file a court action within 10-14 business days, we may restore the removed content.
We have a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are deemed to be repeat infringers. We track DMCA takedown notices per user account and may terminate accounts that receive multiple valid notices.
SeenWant does not interfere with standard technical measures used by copyright owners to identify or protect copyrighted works, as required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(i)(2).
